Alan Wake – schon am 14. Mai

Microsoft zieht die Veröffentlichung von Alan Wake freundlicherweise vor.
Eigentlich für ein Euro-Release am 21. Mai vorgesehen, erscheint der Remedy Thriller nun bereits am 14. Mai.
Unverändert bleiben hingegen die beiden Termine für den US / JAP Launch; 18. / 27. Mai.

Nachdem Remedys Matias Myllyrine sagte, dass das Spiel seit Juni ’09 fertig sei und das Studio die verbleibende Zeit für Polierarbeiten nutze, ist man nun also mit Sicherheit fertig und kann ohne Stress, sogar eher, veröffentlichen. Umso besser !
Auf der E3 2005 erstmals angekündigt, ist ja auch ne Menge Zeit in’s Land gegangen und der Titel wird für Remedy sogar zur Schiksalsfrage.
Ursprünglich auch für PC geplant, sind diese Pläne bis auf Weiteres auf Eis gelegt. Auch wenn laut Sami Järvi, “die Codes nur geweckt werden müssten.” Oskari Hakkinen hingegen verweist auf Remedy als relativ kleines Studio für die Realisierung eines Multi Platformers.

ALAN WAKE STEPS INTO THE LIGHT EARLY IN EUROPE

An intense psychological thriller from Remedy, the creators of Max Payne, Alan Wake looks to raise the bar for future games, creating a true cinematic experience.

Rated BBFC 15, Alan Wake will be available for an estimated retail price of £49.99.
